Job Description for Technical Support & Sales Agent -JR
Job Type: Contract to hire (only for permanent resident-GC and Citizens)
Experience: 2-3 Yrs. in providing Technical Support/repairing of Phones/Computers/Laptops/Game Consoles etc.
Education: High School or under Graduates in any discipline preferably Information Technology.
Certification: preference to MCSE/CCNA/Apple certified candidates
Expected Earning: Industry standards.
Job Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Objective: Person shall be capable to understand the issue being faced by customers on his device and resolve it to the satisfactorily level of customer.
Skill Required: An applicant shall have good skill set in understanding and resolving the technical issues is being faced related to Software Applications/Hardware related by customers on following types of
Devices:

  1. Windows based PCs and Laptops
  2. Windows based Mobile devices
  3. iMAC Desktops and Mac Books laptops
  4. iphone, ipad, ipod devices
  5. Android Mobile Devices
  6. Printer/Scanner Issue
  7. Network Issue (WiFi of LAN)
  8. Game Console PS3, PS4 or XBOX

Job Description:

  • Direct Interaction with customers over the Phone or at store front.
    Scoping and troubleshooting of the issue.
  • Troubleshooting for Phones, computers, laptops, Game Consoles, windows operating systems, IOS, Android, General Phones and computers apps.
  • Achieve Quality requirements
  • Achieve Productivity requirements and performance delivery.
  • Participate in performance improvement task forces as needed and look at continuously raising the bar for Customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and contributions to creating a team environment.
  • Continual enhancement of individual’s performance.
  • Adherence to all company policy and procedures. Demonstrate a high degree of integrity in the performance of one’s responsibilities. Person is expected to treat all information related to Great Tech Geeks’ customer database and business line with strict confidence.
  • Ensuring customer is advised appropriately, regulations and disclaimers are given as per the process guidelines.

Type of Technical issues (few Examples):
For Windows Based PC and Laptops:
System Hanging or lagging issue, optimization or tune up, removal of virus, pop ups adwares & malwares, browser issues, Outlook issues & mail configuration other Application Software issues, unblock blocked plugins, adobe flash player issues, Black screen issue, Reinstall Windows, upgrade
Windows, Hardware fix such as RAM/HDD/Power supply/Mother board replacement etc.

For iMac, iBook, iPhone, iPad and iPod:
Device is disabled, Apple id & Password reset, create apple id, back up issue, transfer of back up from one device to another, Phone stuck on recovery mode, screen blank, mail configuration, how to activate an iMessage, iPod restoration, updation & how to transfer music & videos, iMac/ Mac Book Pro : Stuck on Apple logo, wifi not working, pair a device through Bluetooth e.g. wireless keyboard, manually back up data in external drive & on time machine, iPhoto update, iPhoto version compatibility issue, safari pop up issue, re-store & update Mac OS 6, Hardware fix such as RAM/HDD/Power supply/Mother board replacement etc.

For Printer & Scanner
Installation of printer & scanner, not able to print or scan & driver issues, Paper Jam etc. replacement of parts/assembly etc.
